Clinton International Fly-In 2001 • Contest Results

Unfortunately, We did not keep a written account of the flying contest results from the 2001 Clinton Fly-In. The idea at the time was simply to have fun, with very little thought given to serious competition.

We held both landing and flour sack dropping contests, and those with top scores were presented with hastily constructed "Paper Plate" trophies at the banquet. No photographs or written records of those events have been located to date.

We are certainly interested in the recollection of those who participated. If you were a participant in the 2001 flying contests and received a paper plate trophy (or know who did) we would love to hear from you, and will post your recollections here for posterity.
